How to fix 08
- Tank full and seated, then power cycle and let the machine attempt a fill.
- Descale as the manual describes, including the steam boiler cycle if your model has one. Technician sources say scale on a level probe can read as "no water".
- The Dual Boiler self-check menu shows boiler level status (such as LLL for low and HHH for high). A technician video links a probe stuck on HHH with a boiler that sounds empty to a scaled or shorted probe. Treat the menu readings as a guide, since Breville does not document them.
- Cleaning the probes, replacing their o-rings and checking the inlet hose means opening the machine and working near mains voltage, so it is technician work.
- If the fill pump buzzes and no water reaches the boiler, a technician would check the pump.
