Philips / Saeco error code questions

How many Philips / Saeco error codes are covered?

8 codes across 1 machine family. Each has its own page with the meaning, the part at fault, the fix and the cost.

What does Philips Error 20 mean?

Brew group or a service component not detected (unverified: not in Philips documents). We could not find Error 20 in the Philips LatteGo 4300/5400 manual or in Philips's support article on error codes, so we cannot say what Philips means by it. The advice here is general: make sure the drip tray, grounds container and service door are seated, then switch the machine off and on. If it returns, contact Philips or Saeco support.

Can I fix Philips / Saeco errors myself?

By our ratings, 7 of the 8 codes are easy, 0 moderate and 1 hard or not recommended for DIY. Each page lists the cheapest checks first and says where to stop.
