How to fix CFE
- Start/Reset, wait two minutes, then switch the dishwasher off at the breaker for about 30 seconds and restore it (GE's own reset guidance).
- With the machine off at the breaker, look for water still entering the tub. If it fills with power off, the inlet valve is leaking through.
- Check the float switch in the tub floor moves freely and is not stuck with debris.
- Only if the fill is normal and CFE persists, have the control boards and door harness checked.
