How to fix E1
- Close the door firmly and press Start.
- Check the door latch strike is not bent or broken, looking from the outside.
- Unplug the dryer for five minutes, then plug it back in and restart.
- If the code returns, GE has no consumer procedure for it. Call GE service with your model number and ask what it means on your dryer.

How to check the error log
